PMC - Jewelry
PMC Stands for Precious Metal Clay.
This wonderful material is actually metal;
I use the silver formula. It is soft and pliable like clay (hence the name) until it is fired. Once fired, the organic binders burn out, and you are left with silver. I use a formula that is 96% silver, which is slightly more silver than sterling. All findings are sterling. To learn more about PMC & this formula, click here: PMC
Earrings: $75

Profile
I am a dedicated artist & ceramics teacher with over 25 years of teaching experience. I facilitated the development of the ceramics program at Western Albemarle High School, and helped plan classroom renovations to create a functional ceramics studio that now serves 200 students. I am also the Fine Arts Department Chair for the school, and I plan & organize multiple visual arts shows for students in visual arts at our school of 1,200 students. I have my own studio at home, and create pottery, sculptures, jewelry, and work in my journal as much as I can.
